Tim Lauglin & Tom McDermott Pianist Tom McDermotta St. Louis-born New Orleans transplant whose mastery spans ragtime, traditional jazz, Brazilian choros and funk brings his deep roots in the Crescent Citys musical heritage and his ever-curious stylistic explorations. He is joined by Tim Laughlin, a master of New Orleans traditional jazz who started playing professionally at 15 and quickly worked with legends like Pete Fountain and Al Hirt. Known for resilience, he turned crises like Hurricane Katrina and the COVID-19 pandemic into opportunities to uplift audiences through international tours and balcony concerts.
